“Doing the right things for your body… it isn't just good for you… it feels good. You feel better… and that's priceless.”
— Mark Aramli

Greetings, SuperFriends!

In this episode, we sat down with Mark Aramli.

Mark is the inventor and principal engineer for the patented BedJet CCS. Mark's first engineering role was at United Technologies, builder of the space suit for NASA. His engineering responsibilities included the space suit primary life support system (PLSS), specifically elements relating to heating, cooling and climactic comfort of the interior space suit environment for the astronauts. But he's also worked on some other VERY interesting projects, as we learn in the episode.

My goal in the episode was to dive deeper on sleep than we have on previous episodes. Specifically, I wanted to learn about temperature, and how it effects our sleep. And, as always…Can we hack it? It's a great episode, and I know you're going to love it.

“Most people don't get enough sleep. 60% of people actually crave sleep more than sex!”
“There are ways that temperature can profoundly impact sleep.”
“Bedroom temperature has a moderate impact on your temperature in bed. What has the most impact is your bed itself.”

“Track your sleep. See how many hours you're getting… If you're not getting 7-8 solid hours, you're not getting enough… and you fall into that category of people whose days are not as good as they could be.”
“There's a whole generation of folks growing up now who don't know what it's like to be unplugged.”

Great interview with Dr. Greg Wells! He mentioned a doctor from Colorado around the 42:30 point of the podcast, discussing turmeric and black pepper. I couldnā€™t make out the doctorā€™s name. Can you provide me with his full name and maybe his website or contact info. Interested in his products.

    Thanks,

    Rob

Maybe oarts of the things he has to share are right, maybe not. If I look at him which impact his nurturing and living style has on himself I see a very old looking man! He is year 1973!! That is not old and he looks definitly much older!! If I would not know his birthyear I would guess that he is in his mid-60ies!! A bit concering for someone who claims his lifestyle is suitable for a long life, isn’t it?
